Well in this case it came about in a rather unusual way. See I had been trying to breed a really nice small black tri male for over 5 years, and every one I got my hopes up for, would have one fault or another and just not quite measure up to my ideals. So from the time this pup was about 2 weeks old I would pick him up kiss his face and whisper Are You the ONE ? When I told my friend of this, She said if he puzzles out to be all you hope for, you should name him YES I AM. Well as they say the rest is history!
I Am earned 2 Best In Show Puppy awards at the Rarities MI. Classic. Pictured above with Judge Sandra Ellis the NAMASCUSA Regional Specialty Judge that day, even though it was a specialty for Miniatures and I Am is a Toy, she still awarded him the Best In Show. I felt that was indeed a special honor, for my little homebred boy !
